Kimbolton Country Fayre Report

We were very pleased to be invited by the Fiat Motor Club GB to form part of their display at the Kimbolton Country Fayre on Sunday 14th July. Myself, Mark Simmons and Ross Williams each had a great day and so did one of our newest members, Monty (Ross’s chocolate Poodle puppy) who got plenty of attention.

While Kimbolton is only a small town in Cambridgeshire it certainly put on an impressive show with an estimated 1200 classic and sports cars of all types on display. This was alongside entertaining music acts, plenty of shopping opportunities at the numerous stands and the fantastic farm dogs showing off their skills rounding up sheep and geese in the main arena. The town itself also looked well worth a return visit or a possible future stop on one of our day drives.

As always it was great to catch up with old friends and make new ones as well. It was agreed that maintaining contact between the clubs can only be beneficial for both in the long term and it’s excellent news that some of our members will be heading to the Fiat and Friends event at Gaydon in August.

Below is just a small selection of photos from the show to swipe through.
