DSM-CAR-CONCEPT
From our own fascination for this very special roadster, the FIAT Barchetta, a special line of business of the company DSM, long known in the bike sector, has developed. Our aim is to cover all aspects of the Barchetta, eg parts, tuning, sales, service, modifications etc.
Variator Refurbishment Service
Unfortunately, it’s become a tiresome issue when that engine variator is starting to fail and makes an unwelcome diesel noise. New spare parts are no longer available, and the prices have skyrocketed (sometimes over €700 (!)).
We are now carrying out the overhaul in-house and produce the spring and washer ourselves so that we can offer good quality.
Price including spare parts: €295 – the old part is exchanged. This does not currently apply to variators of the first series. For these, the overhaul costs €450, as we have to use old parts. Components from the first series will be tested to see if a long-term solution is feasible.
