Excellent engine from a May 1999 car with 90,000 miles breaking for parts:
Complete cylinder head (includes tappets, pulleys etc) £195.
Many other Engine parts available.
Complete engine: £700 with your damaged engine in part exchange. You remove all your new parts that you’d rather keep and return the old parts. It comes absolutely complete, with both manifolds, oil cooler, coil packs etc, etc still in situ. This engine had covered less than 95,000 miles and the mileage can be checked using the DVLA MOT check website. I removed it recently from an accident damaged, W registered vehicle.
It ran perfectly before removal!
Complete, black, with red stitching, leather interior from a low mileage (63K) car. Everything is in near perfect condition. Includes both the seats, steering wheel, gearstick and the door cards. £350.
I can send potential buyers many photos of all the above parts.
I do not, currently, have a hood, Front fog lamps, interior clock or any roof mechanism covers.
I do have most of the rest!

Mick Backhouse.
Bought parts from Mick and kept in touch with him for several years. With the ever increasing scams appearing on Barchetta Facebook sites, Mick is a safe place to enquire about parts.
Brian, Barchetta the little boat yard.
Brian, I am a recent new owner of a B after the car had been in storage for 20 years. I have recommissioned the vehicle to an advisory free MOT. The car is not showroom standard but very solid. Unfortunately on giving the car a full tank of petrol for the first time in 20 years, a strong smell of petrol is very apparent. On investigation it appears to be two rubber seals on the top of the tank used for venting/fuel return. I contacted Michael Backhouse but the spares he has are just as bad. He gave me your name has someone who could help. I think I have found 2 from a German seller but he wants £100. Seems a bit steep. Hope you can help…
Hi John,
Sorry I don’t have the new rubber rings.
They are relatively easy to find in Europe.
Email me brian.poole700@gmail.com and I will send you some links.
Brian
Thank you for your reply, after doing some research I have sourced the parts from Germany, DSM-Techniq, arrived at the weekend…
