We have an exciting proposal for our annual meeting this year. How do you fancy a visit to Northern Ireland? It is somewhere I have always wanted to visit but never have, fortunately for our club a handful of our members are resident in Northern Ireland. So here is an opportunity of a guided tour around an outstanding area by local “experts.”
It is only fair to say that this trip will have the added expense of a ferry crossing. I have looked at the Liverpool (Birkenhead) to Belfast route and that is likely to be about £440 return. Three other routes are available to Ireland from Wales and Scotland all are at about that price. The Proposals, although quite expensive, offer a unique and exhilarating holiday that is not otherwise available.
Our Members Steve & Carol Skelly (NI) have been liaising with Dave & Sue Skelding and some preliminary work has been undertaken, they have secured the co-operation of our other members in NI.
The purpose of this message is to gather expressions of interest so that detailed planning can proceed. Please express your interest via info@fiatbarchetta.uk

NORTHERN IRELAND JUNE 2025 THREE NIGHTS IN A FOUR STAR HOTEL
We invite UK Barchetta Owners’ members to join us in Northern Ireland, a region of the UK rich in outstanding natural beauty. Rather than limiting ourselves to one county of the six available we suggest that The Club explore a larger area of the province and we showcase just a few of Ulster’s attractions as follows:
DAY 1 Antrim Coast, Glens of Antrim, Giants Causeway.
DAY 2 Kingdom of Mourne, Newcastle, Silent Valley, Downpatrick.
DAY 3 Ards Peninsular, Mount Stewart, Portaferry finishing with a light lunch.
We would stay at The La Mon Hotel where we have negotiated terms for about a dozen vehicles as follows. Dinner bed and breakfast per couple per night to include three evening meals which include teas/coffees, and three breakfasts. £170 (approx). There is a supplement for single occupancy and it is possible to book a room for a night before and a night after the event. This means that the ferry and three nights accommodation will be about £950 and with an extra hotel night £1120.
The proposed dates of this trip are 1st to 4th of June 2025.

Ooooh, yes please! Jenny and I are definitely up for this trip, we’ve been talking about visiting Northern Ireland for a few years, and to do it in the barchetta would be an added bonus.
