Event Update – May 2020

We were due to meet up and display some Barchetta’s at this years Auto Italia Day at Brooklands on the 2nd May but of course this didn’t happen so instead we will have a virtual meeting of members cars to enjoy, hope they brighten up your day. Good news is that the weather is perfect and its free entry. If you are parking on the banking then first gear and handbrake on!

If you click on each picture it should open up in another window for a full size so you can enjoy each one.

We had a good turn out so if you click on the numbers at the bottom of each page you can carry on walking around the display, there are four pages in total.

Many thanks to all those who supplied a picture and for Martin for sending them onto me. Please feel free to leave a comment in the box below and let me know of any mistakes (which i’m sure there are)

You can discover more about the Brooklands Museum and how the current situation is affecting them via this link https://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/your-visit/coronavirus-statement

Hopefully see you all in the real world soon, until then stay safe.

Always a queue to get into the shows, at least the view is better than the normal traffic

First to arrive is David Davis who has two lovely Barchetta’s, here is the Midnight Blue one with the Naxos spoiler, very nice!

And here is David’s Garden Green car sparkling in the sunshine, liking the colour combination on this Barchetta #makegreengreatagain

Now this is a nice trio! David Ullathorne’s two Barchetta’s, MK1 in red and MK2 in yellow along with their older brother looking classy at the end

Great to see an early Barchetta in the original Orange launch colour which is quite rare, this one belongs to Mark Simmons

This is Vera, Eric Trump’s low mileage Barchetta bought last summer. Previously Eric had a green one named Doris

This red one belongs to the man who provided the tunes at the International Meeting last year, Chris Pearce

Committee member Jerry Larthe de Langladure and his wife Hilary may have found the ultimate destination for a future meeting in Corsica

Looks like the crowds are building up around the cars! This is from the Suffolk meeting in 2013 that Sandy & Paul Ranson arranged
