More French themed Barchetta’s, this time its the club on a trip to the Charente-Maritime region organised by Jerry Larthe de Langladure and his wife Hilary in 2015. One of these is a local lady who kindly posed with the car as Chris Rocker travelled solo!
And here is Martin Garrad’s car looking good, if you are looking at this and are not currently a member of the club this is the man that will get you signed up here: https://fiatbarchetta.uk/join
Member Brian Poole is from Newcastle-under-Lyme but is currently locked down in Poland he has contributed this rather nice Barchetta he spotted whilst on holiday near Verona
Now this is my Barchetta at Brooklands, owned since 2007 and back to original spec for the 25th anniversary trip to Turin that’s now happening next year (fingers crossed)
Angela Emuss’s lovely yellow car leading this nice line up at a previous Brooklands day in 2016.
Angela’s Barchetta certainly caught the attention of somebody when it stood out in a sea of grey in another show car park and found this note on the windscreen, somebody had good taste and I think a good way to end!
Update – we had a few late arrivals so here they are
I think we missed Peter White from Guildford because he had parked with some rather glamorous other cars elsewhere in the show!
And Allan Bullock was late as he decided to drive the long way to Brooklands via the Stelvio Pass, looks better than the M25 anyway
David Blake and his wife Karen from Newcastle have also made it after a detour to the Moto Guzzi factory at Mandelo del Lario. Barchetta owners are an adventurous bunch!
Stuart Major from Chester has also made it along with his Barchetta and his other rather nice Italian car at the back left
Neil – what a fantastic effort ! Lots of hard work I’m sure and a superb result – just a shame that Scuderia Barchetta couldn’t all be there in person.
Brilliant idea Neil, and great turnout! Let’s all look forward to freedom……
Well done! I was there hiding away in my silver facelift car.
Great effort Neil, some top photos – now which do I like best? All of them. Looking forward to getting together soon.
Nice work Neil. Great selection of snaps.
Really worthwhile idea. so enjoyed the beautiful variety. Pleased that other owners call their Bs by such lovely old fashioned names – they so suit.
Great work Neil ,will have to come up with a idea for June , post lockdown drive pictures ?
Thanks all, yes lets hope for some real events soon so we can meet up and get some great photos
Great set of photos – well done.
